The Kennecott Copper Mine! We've lived in Utah for a while now and never seen this famous landmark. Behind Temple Square and the Great Salt Lake, the copper mine is a local tourism hot spot, we had to check it out...
in all its glory, the mine makes the giant trucks look like little toys... truth be told, I was more fascinated by the giant rock hauling trucks. That being said, it is pretty cool that you can see this place from space!
This picture shows just how large the tires on the trucks are, and that is my little boy that you see in Meghan's belly.
I had to get a comparison shot... that is a full sized Ford F-250 driving by the rock hauling trucks!
