visit from the beutler side...

Emory and his Nunu...

Emory sporting some of his new duds from his great Aunt Rosanne...

We took a trip to Salt Lake City's Hogle Zoo, it was a baby sort of trip as there were many new additions to the zoo including baby tigers, a baby giraffe, and a baby elephant!

Nanny trying out a monkey hat...

The baby elephant...

She loved playing with the toys inside their enclosure!

The baby giraffe...

Mom and baby...

Emory enjoyed himself.

Baby tiger...

a lounging Kangaroo.

Nanny was boosting Emory's ego and he was loving it.

Emory had it pretty rough...

hardly any attention at all.

The last day they visited we saw The Mormon Tabernacle Choir perform, then stopped off at Tony Caputo's market in downtown SLC (highly suggested!) and picked up some lunch as well as some treats including these truffles from Chocolatier Blue who uses Amedei chocolate (considered the best chocolate in the world).

Each truffle is unique and hand decorated including on occasion actual gold flakes.

Wonderful anise cookies.

Emory and his Granny/Nana/Joy/Grandmother dearest.

Some new mittens from Patagonia!

Sporting more custom duds again from Rosanne (the knits) and wearing his outfit by Grandma Susan.
