if ever you find yourself in utah...

...let us take you to Temple Square, because let's face it, we don't go often enough for how close we live, especially considering all it has to offer.

If you came with us, we would take you to see the new replica of the Salt Lake Temple. This little model amazed us when we saw it when Amber was here. The artists did an excellent job of capturing all the details, down to the artwork inside the temple. Plus, we felt privileged to see the assembly hall and rooms where the leaders of the Church meet and counsel together. Really, the glare in this photo ruins the real deal; you'll just have to trust us and come see with your own eyes.

Then, we would let you pose for photos with us as part of your experience enjoying the beautiful grounds.

If you'd like, we'll take you to the Conference Center for a guided tour, where you'll learn about the its purpose, uniqueness, and massive size.

You'll get to stroll on the roof for a great view, and receive an education about what the Salt Lake Valley originally offered the settling pioneers.

If you're really lucky, you'll get Larry Larkin as your tour guide. He'll tell you all about how he pretty much built Las Vegas from a tiny, sleepy town in the forties to the bustling metropolis it is today, with shopping centers and housing galore (his specialties). You might even get to see one of his gorgeous, pricey neckties as well. He's the best tour guide around.

The best part of the trip to Temple Square would obviously be to have your photo taken with Emory, the most handsome little companion for a Sunday outing.

Then, we'd bring you to our home and fill your bellies with breakfast for Sunday dinner, and if your fortune is at its peak, you'll get to eat Belgian waffles and see how the Eman uses whipped cream as hair mousse.
