in honor of dating: part 1

we took our picnic basket full of goodies up Emigration Canyon to our favorite spot to enjoy cool temperatures, green foliage, and of course, each other



(or cold temperatures... it was nice to shiver a little!)
the menu: pasta salad with sauteed mushrooms, zucchini, and red onion, and a little bacon for flavor, fresh yellow pepper, tomato, and parsley, and parmesan, of course with a balsamic vinaigrette; baguette, homemade strawberry lemonade, strawberries, and cookies for dessert
