Emory's summer shenanigans would not have been complete without his giraffe pool, that sat waiting for him on Camano Island when we flew to Washington for our trip in July. Thankfully, Nunu and Joy have a warm water hose to fill the pool, since the little man is used to the Utah heat. I can't believe we didn't spend more camera time pool-side on that trip or our subsequent one, when the giraffe lounged in the sun on the front lawn. By the way, doesn't he look way younger in these photos (taken 2 months ago)?
