2013, you've been good to us

As we count down to the new year, I've been nostalgic because 2013 has seriously been an awesome year for our family... 2014 has a high standard to maintain.

*business/family trip to Utah in January- we visited so many friends we hadn't seen in 2 years, and  stayed with my grandma for a couple days on the way home
*overnight  getaway to Leavenworth for Jon and I in February- we were desperately ill so we mostly remember sleeping-ha!
*Penn-boy was born the end of March
*"great great grandma" came to visit when Penn was 5 days old in April and stayed a week- we mostly relaxed and loved on newborn Penn, watching general conference
*Jon attended his seminar at Gonzaga in the end of May and came to appreciate his master's program even more, while the boys and I stayed with my grandma
*we blessed Penn Albin in church in June- on Father's day, no less
*huge business/family trip to southern California in July-  we brought Amber along to help with the boys, and enjoyed beach days in San Diego, visiting family, the San Diego zoo, Disneyland, visiting Nana's grave in Newport Beach, and seeing family in northern California on the way home
*Emory turned 4 in August and we celebrated with a Porsche party
*September brought us back to routine with E starting preschool, and us attending MOPS weekly
*I turned 30 in October, and Penn started crawling (the picture of our family above is from my birthday dinner at Anthony's
*November was the best month yet for Grand Prix Motors, and Jon exceeded goals he set for the business for a month in the year
*we celebrated our first Christmas as a family of 4 in December, Penn in hog heaven with all the paper, and thankfully mostly healthy after Jon's nasty bout with HFMD earlier in the month

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
